The A.C.M.A.S. “I NORMANNI” held its first ever show on the 7th to the 9th October.  The  AME  participated  with  work by  6 of its members.

The show was successful beyond the expectations of its organizers. It attracted, no less than 1,300 figure competition entries. Modellers from all over Italy, as well as some from France, also participated. Top names such as DAVIDE CHIARABELLA, DIEGO RUINA , FRANCO MOCCI, GIANNI LA ROCCA, and  MARIANO NUMITONE were also in attendance.

The AME won the Most Numerous Foreign Club Participation Award and was also presented with a commemorative plaque by the mayor of Monreale.

For the reasons stated above, the competition was this year much keener than usual and the results achieved should be read in this light.
